Log Splitter Wedge: 6-Way, Slip-On
This RuggedMade log splitter wedge has two wing blades on each side, so it can split a log into six pieces in a single stroke. Now you can split three times the wood as a 2-way wedge and 50 percent more than a 4-way wedge in the same amount of time.

Recommended for use on RuggedSplit 700 Series log splitters (RS-728 and RS-737 models) with a main blade that is less than 1-1/8" thick.
CAUTION: Do not attempt to use this wedge on logs with a diameter greater than 20", excessively hard and unseasoned logs, or logs with large knots. Doing so may damage the wedge or your log splitter, and logs are more likely to get jammed.

Reduce your log splitting time with the RuggedMade 6-way wedge. It's easy to install and remove this by simply slipping the wedge on and off of a suitable single-blade wedge.
For optimal use, we recommend using the 6-way wedge on a 1" thick x 6" long single-blade stock.
This 6-way wedge is also suitable for smaller blades but may feel loose when compared to the recommended size. With factory blades that are slightly larger than the recommended size, an angle grinder can be used to slightly grind away some of the rough on your existing blade stock.
A small tab is welded over part of the opening; this matches up to a notch in the main blade of the RuggedSplit 700 series log splitters. It is designed to prevent the slip-on blade from being installed upside down. If using this 6-way blade with a different splitter, or using it with the blade stock available separately from RuggedMade, this tab can easily be ground off.
