This hydraulic valve is most commonly used on log splitters but can also be used in various applications such as trash compactors and hydraulic presses. This single spool valve is equipped with a detent valve (automatic) return feature that is adjustable. The valve handle can be mounted in either direction depending on the application and method of installation. In the neutral position, both work ports are blocked and the pump unloads to the hydraulic fluid tank. The maximum operating temperature is 180°F.
